The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has been involved in the SE AETC’s Practice Transformation Project since 2015. Now, as they step into the role of the Alabama AETC, they will be utilizing their extensive reach, expert faculty, and education experience to provide HIV capacity building to increase the HIV workforce and End the HIV Epidemic in Alabama. Please welcome to the SE AETC Team: Nick Van Wagoner, MD, PhD, and Greer Burkholder, MD, MSPH, as the Co-Principal Investigators; Ann Mosely Whitsett as the Program Coordinator; and Terilaine Wheeler, MS ([email protected]) as the Program Manager! If you are located in the state of Alabama, we encourage you to reach out to them with your HIV training needs. We would like to thank Medical Advocacy and Outreach (MAO) in Montgomery, Alabama for their service over the past seven years. They are an incredible resource for HIV care and community support.
