What's Your QI IQ? - NQC Launches a National Quality Improvement Challenge
February 2, 2016
Our understanding of quality in healthcare—how we talk about it and how we measure it—has evolved over time. However, the goal has remained the same: improving the health of people living with HIV. This means constantly challenging ourselves to do better. In essence, do quality improvement (QI) better.
To help individuals and agencies assess and improve their work, the National Quality Center (NQC) has launched a national Quality Improvement Challenge that asks: What’s Your QI IQ?
This Challenge provides a fun and interactive way to compare what you’re doing with what you could be doing. How—and where—could you do better? Where could you improve?
This is a community-wide challenge that aims to engage the following:
- Providers/Recipients: Assemble your team and start tackling the questions.
- Project Officers: How many of your recipients are participating? How do you compare to your fellow POs?
- Clients: Ask your provider, “What is the one thing I could be doing to improve the quality of my care?”
Visit NationalQualityCenter.org/QIChallenge to start the Challenge today.
Already started? Share your progress and join in the conversation. We have a dedicated #QIChallenge hashtag, a leaderboard for participants to submit your photos, and completion web badge for all finishers.
So what are you waiting for?
