This conference will focus on the co-occurring epidemics of HIV, viral hepatitis, and opioids, as well as other drugs, including methamphetamine. The conference will explore the scope of the problem and cultivate collaborative work and innovation. Our goal is to bring together stakeholders, health care providers, and community members to address the infectious disease co-morbidities of injection and other problematic drug use. We are especially interested in interventions that can be implemented efficiently through the existing public health and medical systems.

This 8-hour conference is being held in collaboration with the Minnesota DHS and Region 5 DHHS, and will feature speakers from amfFAR and the Chicago Recovery Alliance Harm Reduction Coalition.
