MATEC's six-session 2021 HIV Intensive Nursing Review serves as an intensive review for nurses and other relevant healthcare professionals involved in HIV and AIDS care. The course is designed to offer a comprehensive review of HIV-related information and to be interactive, to allow attendees to share ideas, information, and experiences, and will be held virtually on Zoom.
 
If you are planning on attending more than one session, please register for each session separately, as there is a different Zoom link for each session.


Session #6: Living Well with HIV
Program is two hours live on Zoom

Objectives:

  • List recommended vaccines/immunizations for persons with HIV.
  • List prevention/wellness recommendations for bone, heart, kidney, and liver health.
  • Discuss other tools to improve health, such as smoking cessation.

1.5 Contact hours of continuing education has been requested through the AANP for this session.
