2021 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) CLINICAL CONFERENCE
Sunday, October 3, 2021 - 12:00am EDT to Wednesday, October 6, 2021 - 11:45pm EDT
Update: The 2021 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program CLINICAL CONFERENCE is fully virtual. The deadline to apply is September 17, 2021.
Due to the rapid rise of COVID-19 delta variant infections, we have come to the difficult decision that it is unsafe and impractical to have the in-person component of the conference. Our first and foremost concern is to ensure our attendees’ health and safety and decided the safest option is to only have the virtual component of the conference. The conference dates will remain the same and the updated agenda, including the updated conference hours, are available on the IAS–USA website under the 2021 RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE activity page.
This technical conference will provide state-of-the-art research, care, and treatment updates for experienced clinical decision-makers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) who are responsible for the day-to-day medical care and treatment of people with HIV and those integral to the provision of medical care in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)–funded sites. If you are a clinical decision-maker in an RWHAP-funded clinic or program (specifically for parts A, B, C, and D) who provides direct clinical care to patients, apply at the link above to attend.
Attendance is limited and you must be approved to attend. A limited number of spots are reserved for registered nurses and pharmacists who are the primary clinical decision-makers in their RWHAP-funded clinic or program. This conference is funded by the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration and is organized and sponsored for CME by the International Antiviral Society–USA, in coordination with the AETC National Coordinating Resource Center.
If you are registered for the 2021 RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE, break-out session sign-up will close on September 17, 2021. The break-out sessions are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are filling up quickly. Sign up by using the link included in your registration confirmation. If you registered to attend the virtual component prior to the conference going fully virtual, you will receive an email with instructions on how to sign up for break-out sessions.
This year, the HIV 101 pre-conference session will take place as a separate webinar on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. You can register for the HIV 101 here. There is no fee to participate.
If you have a colleague(s) new to your clinic and have not attended the RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE previously, feel free to share this information with them.
Thank you for your understanding in this time of uncertainty as we continue to face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
