AIDS Seminar: ChemSex

Description:

This session will review the phenomenon of chemsex and its unique association with HIV and behaviors associated with HIV acquisition. Strategies for harm reduction and treatment will be reviewed, along with available data on medication treatment and interventions. Special attention will be given to utilizing a sex-positive approach to developing a treatment plan and intervention strategy for patients engaged in chemsex regardless of their HIV status.
