In order to effectively End the HIV Epidemic in the United States, providers who care for people with or at-risk for HIV need to be equipped to effectively identify and treat opioid use disorder. This presentation will provide practical guidance on the use of medications for opioid use disorder.
- Understand the initial assessment of an individual seeking treatment for opioid use disorder.
- Be able to perform MOUD initiation.
- Understand the components of treatment monitoring.
