APLA Health, in partnership with the Pacific AIDS Education Training Center – Los Angeles Area, invites you to participate in the first HIV & Aging Southern California Conference on September 23 and 25.
It is estimated that by 2030, 70% of people living with HIV will be 50 years or older. However, there are many questions raised by significant improvements in life expectancy due to effective treatment. Central among these are the experiences of people living with HIV who are getting older and the existing senior services meeting the multiple needs of older adults living with HIV.

Conference Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe real-world challenges and solutions for people aging with HIV.
  2. Explain how psychosocial barriers affect people aging with HIV.
  3. Strategize realignment of existing services for older adults living with HIV.
