The Impact of Racism on Health Inequities for Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC)

This training will discuss the history of health inequities within communities of color, and how ethnicity/cultural orientation and other social determinants of health (SDOH) increases the likelihood of BIPOC experiencing poorer health outcomes with infectious diseases such as HIV. Strategies to address healthcare disparities in vulnerable patient populations will be shared.
