Part five of a six-part series -- Ending the HIV Epidemic: Boot Camp for Community Health Centers

This series is for community health centers (CHC) that have an integral role in Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE). Participants will hear from fellow CHCs and clinic leaders for a strategy-gathering information-exchange to learn more about HIV Routine Testing, Implementation of Routine Testing, Importance of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and how to access funding for PrEP. The webinars will be an hour in length and will include Q&A as well as audience interaction via polling. This series is targeted towards community health centers mainly in Pennsylvania and West Virginia; however, attendees from all states are welcome to attend.

Program Objectives
  1. Define Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)

  2. Discuss the importance of implementing PrEP in an urban primary care setting

  3. Describe the process of prescribing PrEP

  4. Discuss strategies for leveraging resources in an urban area
