This talk will discuss the social and structural drivers of racial inequities in HIV. The critical need for pharmacies in reducing pervasive racial inequities in HIV will be highlighted including the existing research that highlights multiple models for pharmacy-based HIV prevention and treatment service integration. Using existing online resources, we will identify communities in which pharmacy-based HIV prevention and treatment services will have the highest impact on racial inequities in HIV. This presentation will lay the foundation for a series of other presentations that describe the nuts and bolts of integrating HIV prevention and treatment services in pharmacies.
