This presentation will discuss oral health issues for pregnant individuals, as well as any special concerns relative to HIV. Common oral diseases and conditions with an emphasis on the importance of routine dental care during pregnancy and any contraindications to treatment, comfort, and quality of care will be reviewed. The importance of medical/dental collaboration will also be discussed.
