
This infographic highlights the importance of and need for specialized HIV care education in the primary care setting, to address growing needs of the aging HIV population, in contrast to the shortage of HIV care specialists. Rutgers School of Nursing is one of five graduate nursing and physician assistant programs funded by Health Resources and Services Administration that supports developmental work and training in HIV care and treatment for nurse practitioner students and physician assistant students.
