The Latest in Starting and Switching Antiretroviral Therapy

This training session defines the latest in antiretroviral therapy with regard to when and what to start. It also discusses reasons for modifying therapy along with current strategies for those who are virologically suppressed with and without underlying drug-resistant virus, as well as those experiencing virologic failure.  A brief overview is also provided regarding emerging treatment strategies that may be available in the near future.
