This CME-based series of online case studies is open from May 1 through June 30, 2020. The series is designed to increase participant's understanding of:
- recent trends in STI and HIV epidemiology and how these trends impact care delivery and health outcomes in Rhode Island
- ideal diagnostic tests for a patient given symptom presentation, the likelihood of final diagnosis, patient history, and clinic environmental and cost constraints
- applying learned concepts of HIV and STIs to typical patient encounters in clinical settings
This course is open to all medical providers from internal medicine, primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYB, and other providers who are delivering services pertaining to sexual health.
