This training explores innovative, street-based approaches to engaging and treating people who are unsheltered and living with HIV and opioid use disorder (OUD). Grounded in whole-person centered care and practices, the training examines how street medicine models overcome traditional access barriers, build trust with populations of focus, and deliver integrated, low-threshold services directly in non-traditional settings. Participants will gain practical strategies and a deeper understanding of why integrated HIV and OUD care is essential for people sleeping rough.
