Description
This all-virtual series will utilize case studies to expand upon specific content foundational for case managers in Pennsylvania. This series will provide initial and ongoing training for case managers as they are on-boarded within specific agencies and programs. The goal of this training plan is to provide all Ryan White Part B Case Managers (CM) statewide with fundamental and foundational case management knowledge and skills to provide quality services for their clients.

Objectives
- Review Pennsylvania HIV epidemiology and the national & global impact
- List types of HIV tests and the interpretation of test results
- Identify clinical concerns in HIV care and prevention
- Discuss testing and confidentiality in HIV care
- Describe the state of treatment and adherence strategies
- Review HIV, hepatitis, and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Discuss treatment as prevention and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
