Join us for a practical training focused on safety considerations for HIV outreach workers and navigation professionals. This session will cover strategies for identifying and managing potential risks in the field, maintaining personal safety, and supporting clients effectively while working in community settings.

Objectives

Describe how emotional intelligence plays a role in performing successful field work
Increase competency around moving through a wide array of environments
Develop tools to de-escalate potentially violent situations
Refine ability to recognize varied communication styles and formulate appropriate and effective responses
