This full-day HIV Update Conference aims to provide participants with current epidemiologic trends, clinical updates, and best practices for HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and care in Georgia. Participants will gain practical, evidence-based strategies to strengthen screening, rapid linkage to care, and retention efforts across clinical and community settings, while engaging in interactive discussions focused on real-world implementation and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Objectives

  • Describe current STI and HIV epidemiologic trends in Georgia and apply this data to inform screening, prevention, and linkage-to-care strategies in clinical and community settings.
  • Implement evidence-based updates in STI and HIV testing, treatment, and prevention (including PrEP and rapid ART initiation) to improve patient outcomes and reduce transmission.
  • Strengthen care coordination by identifying practical strategies to enhance linkage, retention, and partner services across multidisciplinary systems of care.
