Join the Southeast AETC for the 27th Biannual Perinatal Symposium.

Objectives

  • Identify recommended strategies for the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of infants with perinatal HIV exposure.
  • Describe current recommendations for HIV testing, antiretroviral therapy, and monitoring during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Apply evidence-based approaches to HIV care for women during pregnancy, including treatment considerations, monitoring, and prevention of perinatal HIV transmission.
  • Identify opportunities to coordinate maternal, newborn, pediatric, and specialty care to support timely follow-up and continuity of care for individuals affected by perinatal HIV exposure.
