This MATEC's six-session 2026 HIV Intensive Nursing Review serves as an intensive review for nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in HIV and AIDS care. The course is designed to offer a comprehensive review of HIV-related information and to be interactive, to allow attendees to share ideas, information, and experiences.
Objectives
- List the classes, actions, pharmacological considerations, and common side effects of HIV medications.
- Describe the life cycle of HIV and targets for antiretroviral medications.
- Discuss common ART regimens and considerations for selection.
