This five-session series explores how to implement long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy (LAI ART) in real-world settings by integrating clinical and nonclinical workflows, centering patient experience and shared decision-making, optimizing prescribing practices, addressing coverage and access barriers, and using clinical monitoring and process indicators to drive quality improvement.

Objectives

  • Deeper understanding of provider decision-making about who is and who is not a good fit for long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy (LAI ART)
  • Awareness of shifting coverage landscape
  • Considerations and strategies to get patients on treatments and ensure they can continue to afford treatments
  • Resources to support clinics’ ability to scale up their LAI ART programs
