The presentation focuses on intimate partner violence (IPV) screening in healthcare settings. It covers IPV definitions, prevalence, and health impacts, and highlights the intersections between IPV and HIV, including ways in which IPV can increase HIV risk and interfere with care among those living with HIV. The presentation reviews the healthcare response to IPV, including opportunities for implementation, screening for IPV, and responding to disclosures. Local and national resources to consider are provided.
