This three-day (in-person) workshop offers an engaging introduction to motivational interviewing (MI), an evidence-based, person-centered style of communication designed to strengthen a person’s own motivation and commitment to change. Participants will explore basic concepts, including the OARS and MI Spirit. Through a mix of presentations, group discussion, and hands-on practice, participants will gain insight into how MI can help facilitate conversations that empower individuals to take control of their own change process.
