Objectives

Identify the five levels of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs as they specifically apply to People with HIV in rural settings.
Analyze how unmet physiological and safety needs (e.g., housing, transportation) directly correlate with poor antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence.
Implement at least two screening questions or strategies to identify "survival-level" barriers during a standard clinical encounter.
