This in-person summit brings together healthcare professionals to build knowledge, strengthen skills, and empower communities in addressing the intersecting challenges of HIV and substance use disorders (SUD).

Objectives

  • Identify current trends, challenges, and disparities in HIV and substance use disorder (SUD) prevention, treatment, and care across the Southeast region.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies to integrate HIV and SUD services within clinical and community settings.
  • Strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare providers, community organizations, and public health partners to improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop actionable plans to address stigma, barriers to care, and social determinants of health impacting affected populations.
