Join the Midwest AETC for the Chicago HIV Breakfast Club.

Objectives

Describe common mental health concerns that impact HIV prevention and care: depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use.
Explain how stigma, cultural dynamics, and communication patterns shape trust, disclosure, and engagement in care among Latino/e/x patients.
Apply practical strategies to improve communication, reduce stigma, and support connection to mental health and HIV services.
