HIV Syndemics in Clinical Practice: Enhancing Care within the EHE Framework:
This four-part webinar series will explore integrated approaches to address the syndemics of HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, mental health, and substance use disorders to effectively End the HIV Epidemic (EHE).

Objectives

  • Describe and interpret local syndemics and molecular surveillance data to identify clusters and trends relevant to clinical HIV practice.
  • Discuss the clinical provider’s role in responding to syndemic-related HIV outbreaks or clusters in alignment with EHE strategies.
  • Identify rapid ART initiation protocols to adapt clinical workflows in response to syndemic “hot spots” or HIV cluster detection.
