This training will explore various opportunistic infections and special considerations for treating them in persons with HIV. This training will ensure providers have the latest recommendations and updates on the topic from an expert Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist.

Objectives

  • Describe the most common opportunistic infections affecting patients with HIV
  • Explain risk factors, common clinical presentations, and diagnostic requirements for these infections
  • Understand and implement updated treatment regimens with recent clinical evidence
