HIV Syndemics in Clinical Practice: Enhancing Care within the End the HIV Epidemic (EHE) Framework:
This four-part webinar series will explore integrated approaches to address the syndemics of HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, mental health, and substance use disorders to effectively End the HIV Epidemic (EHE).

Objectives

  • Describe the clinical relevance of syndemics in HIV acquisition, progression, and care outcomes.
  • Identify key syndemic conditions commonly encountered in HIV care settings, including STIs, substance use disorders, viral hepatitis, and mental health conditions.
  • Describe appropriate screening strategies to identify syndemic conditions during routine HIV care or prevention visits.
