Objectives
- Evaluate and implement evidence-based alternative antiretroviral regimens for people with HIV who must transition off Biktarvy- or Descovy-containing therapy while remaining eligible for ADAP.
- Navigate medication access resources to support continuity of antiretroviral therapy for patients experiencing loss of insurance coverage or ADAP eligibility.
- Apply cost-conscious prescribing strategies using generic antiretroviral agents, balancing efficacy, tolerability, and patient-specific factors for individuals who will have to pay out of pocket for HIV treatment.
