This program provides an overview of important topics in HIV care, focused towards healthcare providers in WV including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians.

Objectives:

Discuss the role of HIV treatment in ending the epidemic.
Provide information on current first line agents for HIV treatment and discuss recent advances in HIV therapeutics, including long-active injectable medications.
Describe the concept of “Rapid Start” and discuss clinical care considerations for individuals living in rural areas.
