This workshop offers client-centered approaches to HIV adherence counseling. It aims to support healthcare team members’ development of counseling skills and techniques regarding sexual health so they may increase their ability to provide high-quality sexual health services to patients or clients.

Objectives

Explain the importance of adherence to antiretroviral therapy
Discuss how adherence to antiretroviral therapy impacts the HIV care continuum
Identify various client-centered counseling techniques
Apply client-centered adherence counseling techniques to case studies
