Join us for a one-hour virtual learning session designed for professionals working in HIV care and support services. This session will explore the role of emotional resilience approaches in supporting people with HIV who may experience isolation, and psychosocial stressors that impact health and well-being. Participants will learn practical strategies to strengthen patient engagement, support emotional coping, and incorporate community and peer resources into client-centered care. This webinar will provide tools to help HIV care teams promote resilience and sustained wellness among the individuals and communities they serve.
Objectives
- Participants will identify at least three key informational resources to support clients during health coverage transitions and describe how these resources can be used to provide accurate, timely guidance.
- Participants will demonstrate communication strategies for discussing policy and coverage changes with clients, including techniques to promote understanding, support engagement in care, and address concerns related to continuity of HIV treatment and services.
- Participants will apply integrated care principles to describe strategies for coordinating behavioral health and HIV services, including identifying referral pathways and supporting client-centered responses to mental health needs.
