Join the Northeast/Caribbean AETC for this webinar, which is part of a 5-part series on Implementing Long - Acting HIV Treatment & Prevention. This first session is on "Introduction to Long-Acting Antiretroviral Therapy." 

Objectives

  • Describe what long-acting HIV antiretroviral therapy (ART), cabotegravir (CAB) and rilpivirine (RPV) is, how the medications are dosed, and common side effects
  • List four steps that patients and the HIV care team can take to successfully transition patients to long-acting CAB/RPV
  • Describe strategies that care team members can employ to support treatment success and ongoing engagement in care
