Description

The Ryan White Medical Case Management (MCM) Certified Training Series is a comprehensive, 12-month curriculum designed to equip case managers with the structural knowledge, clinical literacy, and behavioral health competencies required to deliver high-impact, client-centered care. The core focus of this session is on translating objective assessment data into actionable, client-centered goals.

Objectives

Navigate the regulatory boundaries, roles, and administrative expectations of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program.
Synthesize current HIV biomedical treatments and public health partner services into daily client education and care coordination.
Apply standardized client acuity metrics to develop, monitor, and update dynamic, equity-driven care plans.
Implement trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral strategies—including Motivational Interviewing and Shared Decision Making—to support clients navigating substance use and mental health challenges
