Join the Southeast AIDS Education and Training Center for an engaging and impactful presentation regarding Substance Use Screening and HIV.

Objectives

Describe the prevalence and impact of substance use disorders among people with HIV, including effects on treatment adherence, viral suppression, and overall health outcomes.
Identify evidence-based approaches for screening, diagnosing, and managing substance use disorders in people with HIV, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and harm reduction strategies.
Apply integrated, patient-centered care strategies that address both HIV and substance use disorders and interdisciplinary collaboration.
