Description
This webinar series is open until April 19, 2028.
This continuing education activity consists of clinically focused HIV webinars developed to help strengthen the HIV clinical workforce. Led by expert faculty in HIV prevention, treatment, and care, the series is designed to address workforce shortages by increasing the knowledge, confidence, and practice readiness of primary care providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in caring for people with HIV. Participants will receive current, evidence-based education and CE credit opportunities while learning practical strategies to improve prevention, treatment, and discipline-specific management of HIV in clinical practice. The first webinar in the series is Non-infectious Complications from HIV, which will explore common comorbidities and long-term health considerations affecting people with HIV.

- Discuss relevant epidemiology about HIV and aging.
- Describe the most common non-infectious complications of HIV and prevention strategies on the cardio, metabolic, renal, oncological and neurocognitive areas.
