Join the South Central AETC for a no-cost 1-day in-person training event to increase your knowledge of the spirit and principles of motivational interviewing to engage people with HIV.

Objectives

  • Increase knowledge of efficacy of MI with clients with HIV
  • Define the four principles of motivational interviewing
  • Increase skills to use motivational interviewing strategies with people with HIV
  • Recognize change language in client interactions
  • Develop strategies to use MI for improving engagement in care services.
