This webinar will highlight key considerations for integrating long-acting treatment into HIV care and addressing barriers to access, with a focus on supporting patient-centered treatment options and improving outcomes.

Objectives

  • Differentiate among common barriers to oral antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence and develop a toolkit to address these situations.
  • Identify which people with oral ART challenges are most likely to benefit from long-acting injectable (LAI) ART.
  • Discuss recent literature on LAI-ART for people who struggle with PO ART adherence.
