Bimonthly Survey
Selecting an antiretroviral (ARV) regimen requires careful consideration of multiple patient-specific factors, including virologic efficacy, resistance history, comorbidities, renal and hepatic function, drug–drug interactions, pill burden, and adherence considerations.
The National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC) provides practical, clinician-focused decision support to help navigate these challenges.
Through peer-to-peer consultation, NCCC’s team of experienced clinical pharmacists and HIV specialists offers individualized guidance tailored to each patient’s needs and your local practice environment. Whether addressing access barriers or regimen selection questions, the goal is to support safe, confident, evidence-informed prescribing.
To support real-world clinical decision-making, NCCC maintains downloadable, no-cost ARV drug tables that are updated regularly to reflect current information.
These tables provide organized, at-a-glance guidance on:
- Adult dosing, including renal and hepatic adjustments
- Available formulations and special dosing considerations
- Common adverse effects
- Clinically significant drug–drug interactions
Two formats are available:
- Comprehensive ARV Table (all currently available agents)
- Frequently Prescribed ARVs Table (quick-reference version)
Tables can be downloaded directly from the NCCC online pharmacy page.
