Description

Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan parasite that can infect humans and cause encephalitis in people with HIV who have advanced immunosuppression. Dr. Jehan Budak updates Dr. Aley Kalapila’s mini-lecture on prevention of Toxoplasma encephalitis for people with HIV to reflect new screening recommendations.
