Aishatu Yusuf serves as a Research Scientist/Project Coordinator for the TAKE on HIV Program at the University of North Texas College of Public Health (UNTHealth). Dr. Yusuf has years of experience in HIV clinical care and HIV programming. She holds a DrPH from Texas A&M University, an MPH from Cardiff University, Wales, United Kingdom, and a Medical Degree (M.B.B.S) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Her research expertise is in Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Infectious Diseases, with a special interest in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Tuberculosis, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). She also serves as a research scientist evaluating the Texas Rape Prevention & Education (RPE) Program.
