Objectives

  • Explain the ethical, legal, and relational dimensions of HIV disclosure in youth care settings.
  • Integrate disclosure as a choice within the context of treatment-as-prevention (U=U) and biomedical prevention advances. 
  • Identify strategies to support youth-centered disclosure to partners and new providers. 
  • Integrate confidentiality and disclosure planning into routine HIV care across developmental stages.
