Objectives

  • Define key characteristics and needs of youth born with HIV.  
  • Summarize emerging findings (e.g., lifetime survivor data) and their implications for care.  
  • Identify psychosocial, stigma-related, and aging-related considerations impacting lifetime survivors.  
  • Integrate lived experience perspectives into trauma-informed and person-centered care approaches.  
  • Develop strategies to support resilience, engagement, and long-term health outcomes.
