Danielle C Johnson, BSN, RN

Danielle Johnson, RN, BSN, ACRN is a Community Nurse Educator for the Mid-Atlantic Aids Educational Training Center housed within ChristianaCare. She has been a nurse for over 13 years and is passionate about health equity, breaking down stigmas, and ending the HIV epidemic. She has worked in multiple healthcare settings, including acute care, ambulatory care, case management, and home health, giving her a unique insight into barriers to care. Danielle has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Throughout her career, she has embraced her nursing philosophy to care for the ill while concentrating on preventing illness. She feels fortunate for her current community nurse educator role, which allows her to educate others on the importance of patient-centered care and its power in achieving wellness.
