Who we are
The AETC Program is the clinician training and support arm of the HRSA HAB Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. Its mission is to enhance HIV prevention and care in the United States through educational and capacity-building support of the HIV clinical workforce.
The AETC Program includes:
- 8 Regional Centers each with multiple (local) partners offering tailored training and technical assistance.
- The National HIV Curriculum (NHC) offering no-cost CME and CNE.
- The National Clinician Consultation Center providing phone and e-based expert case consultation in HIV management and related topics.
- The National AETC Support Center with online resources and training opportunities, the annual Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Clinical Conference, and technical assistance.
- Initiatives to address HIV healthcare workforce gaps.

Through comprehensive healthcare workforce education, clinical consultation, and technical assistance, the AETC Program enhances the quality of HIV care outcomes for people with HIV and communities disproportionately impacted by HIV across the United States and its territories.
