Special Projects
The AETC Program supports and participates in key HRSA HAB special projects, including:
- The National HIV Curriculum (NHC) provides free, up-to-date content for clinicians to learn about HIV diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. The 37 lessons and corresponding question bank topics offer free CME, MOC, CNE, pharmacology CE, and CE. The in-depth antiretroviral medications section and 17 clinical screening tools and calculators support clinical decision-making.
- The National HIV Residency Pathway Consortium (NHRPC) provides HIV training pathways in Family and Internal Medicine residency programs, increasing the number and diversity of providers serving people with HIV, particularly in areas with the largest unmet need for HIV care and prevention.
- Integrating the National HIV Curriculum e-Learning Platform into Health Care Professions Programs
- Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative (EHE)
- Building the HIV Workforce and Strengthening Engagement in Communities of Color (B-SEC)
- Special Programs of National Significance (SPNS)
