The Indigenous HIV/AIDS Syndemic Strategy: Weaving Together the National HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis Plan

Presented by Cody Knight, MPH, CPH, this session will discuss the Indigenous pathway as complementary to the national strategies that allows Indigenous stakeholders to formulate their own response to the syndemic in their communities by incorporating local governance and Indigenous knowledge. The Indigi-HAS is encouraged as a process-based roadmap for all stakeholders to guide the development of policies, services, programs, initiatives, and other actions to achieve the nation’s vision of ending the syndemic by 2030.
