MATEC's six-session 2023 HIV Intensive Nursing Review serves as
an intensive review for nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in
HIV and AIDS care. The course is designed to offer a comprehensive review of
HIV-related information and to be interactive, to allow attendees to share
ideas, information, and experiences, and will be held virtually live on Zoom and
through pre-recordings.
This training is a series, and attendance at all sessions is encouraged, but if
one or more do not work for your schedule, MATEC welcomes you to register for
those you are able to attend.

Learning Objectives:

  • List recommended vaccines/immunizations for persons with HIV
  • List prevention/wellness recommendations for bone, heart, kidney, and liver health
  • Discuss other tools to improve health, such as smoking cessation
